Give your small animals, birds, or reptiles a premium, laboratory-grade habitat base with the Teklad Shredded Aspen Bedding. Crafted from 100% virgin Great Lakes aspen wood, this all-natural hardwood substrate is manufactured specifically for use as contact bedding rather than as a commercial lumber by-product. Its unique, random particle sizes provide a soft, splinter-free texture that allows animals to easily construct secure nests and deep burrows while serving as a safe, aromatic alternative to toxic pine or cedar softwoods.
Why You’ll Love It:
- Make it easy for your pet to build secure, natural nests and tunnels.
- Formulated with approximately 8% less moisture than standard commercial brands to drastically reduce the growth of harmful bacteria, yeast, and molds.
- Completely free of pesticides, heavy metals, and foreign contaminants.
